Black Halos is History Music’s 1st signing to the brand new independent label based out of Vancouver, Canada..

Famed Producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden) has once again produced the 4th full length for The Black Halos and promises WE ARE NOT ALONE to be the band's best.

This is the third label for the boys in black. Formed by their Manager Danny Cameo and Black Halos' drummer Rob Zgaljic, History Music could just be the home The Black Halos have always wanted..

“I approached Rob early last summer about us putting something together to release the next Halos album with both of us handling Management duties” says Cameo. “With my background in Corporate Business and his in the Music Industry on and off the stage, it just seemed to make sense.” “The timing was right for myself and the band.” says Zgaljic. “This was always something I wanted to pursue and Danny and I are making it happen”. “Rob and I worked out a great distribution deal with Sonic Unyon and everything is in place to make this the most successful Black Halos record so far.”.

History Music will eventually be signing other bands once the next Black Halos album is recorded. “We know we have to take it one project at a time and not bite off more than we can chew, we want to do this right in every manner” says Cameo. The label will also be managing bands soon as well. “Thanks to fantastic help from some great people within the industry setting this up, there’s a good deal of interest already.” exclaims Cameo..

The Black Halos have also confirmed they will once again be performing at Canadian Music Week in Toronto this March. “We are going to do a few shows on the way out to Toronto and we will be playing some of the new songs. I am really proud of the material we have to record, I think it’s the best music we have written as a band” says Zgaljic..

The Black Halos have released 3 full length albums between the Sub Pop and Century Media labels. Their music has been featured on anything from hit US TV shows to video games. Over the last 8 years, the band has performed with such acts as Social Distortion, Sum 41 and the Offspring to Danzig..

The Black Halos have played in 14 countries this past year alone, and return to Europe once again in the spring 2007..

History Music Recordings is an Independent Record Label and Artist Management Company..

The Black Halos "Alive Without Control" now available from the german label People Like You on CD and Vinyl!

Tuesday June 28, 2005 A.D.

Vancouver's monochrome glam punks THE BLACK HALOS release their 3rd Cd "Alive Without Control" (Jack Endino) on Liquor and Poker/ Century Media .
Buy It, Love It, Spread the Word.

The album was written and recorded shortly after the band's Can/Am Tour last November '04 with new guitarist Adam Becvare and Bassist Denyss McKnight.

10 Feb 2005-
"Just finished a new Black Halos album for Century Media, and I can say that the Halos are definitely back! (And in black, of course...) This is no mere "reunion" record, believe me. It's the real deal. The band is possibly better, and has better players, than the "old" band, not to mention a more relaxed and pleasant personal chemistry among the members. I really enjoyed this one, my third for the band and probably the best."
- Jack Endino

A message from Rob:
It's with great sadness and disbelief that Jordan Michael Stuttard a great friend of mine and a friend to current and former members of the Halos has passed away. Jordan played guitar in my former band Sparkmarker for a number of years. He passed away from Cystic Fibrosis, an illness he's been struggling with ever since I've known him. He never let it slow him down though....we had a couple records out and toured the world a number of times, even though at times it was really hard for him, he still made it through those tours with a smile on his face. He was one of the few "good guys" he always made you laugh and was always by your side if you needed him. Jordan was a stellar guitar player, he was a very passionate player and was influenced by all things rock' n roll, especially the Black Halos...he loved our band and came out to many shows when he was able to. I'll miss Jordan a lot, as I know will the Halos that were lucky enough to know him.  Just to let you know that if you have a friend or family member that's battling Cystic Fibrosis....please feel free to make a donation in any amount to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada, 2221 Yonge Street, Suite #601, Toronto, ON M4S 2B4
